Soma started it, for herself first
Somarelle began with our founder, Soma, and a problem every woman knows: dresses that look beautiful and then need a battle of layers underneath to sit right. Tailoring did not solve it. Shapewear worn underneath did not solve it either.
So she stopped accepting the trade-off and built the shaping into the dress itself. Every Somarelle piece carries a firm inner layer that defines the waist and smooths the front, so there is nothing to put on underneath and nothing to think about once you have.
